The kids and I had a blast this weekend celebrating fall, by picking apples and buying pumpkins and cider donuts. Liam especially enjoyed himself and ate his fair share of apples! The tractor ride around the orchard was a huge hit. So happy my favorite season is here!

Liam is 3!
My little Liam turned three this weekend! Where does the time go?!
After MUCH deliberation, he finally chose a robot cake! This was Nanny’s creation!
We had a simple little family party and he couldn’t have been more excited!
Concentrating so hard on that candle!
Make a wish, big boy!
He was so excited about the presents he received! A mini trampoline, a toy green motorcycle, a new movie, matchbox cars, and the green “ho-mawk” helmet he has been wanting for so long!
Thank you to our family for celebrating Liam’s special day with us!

Purple Belt
Seamus recently passed his Tae Kwon Do belt testing exam and is now a purple belt! I had to be out of town for his testing, so unfortunately I don’t have any pictures from that night.
First order of business as a new purple belt - a QUADRUPLE board break!!!

Back to School 2013
Back to school time already! I just can’t believe it.
My beautiful girl is getting so big.
Off to second grade!
This hambone! He said, “If I take a nice picture, then can I pose how I want?” Sure…
Nice!
And my little Liam…not so little anymore! Off to Pre-K!
The most exciting part is the backpack, you know.
Traditional first day of Pre-K donut!
Such a big boy! He had a fantastic first day and so far, just loves school.
All three of my kiddos on their first days of Pre-K!
The school year is off to a wonderful start! Can’t wait for all the adventures this year will bring!

Fun at Saratoga Race Track
One of our favorite summer traditions is spending the day at the track, with family, friends, and food!!! The kids love picking their favorite horses and hoping for a win! This year, the Saratoga Race Track is 150 years old!

Getting Dramatic
Seamus was so excited this year, because as an entering third-grader, he was able to participate in Sacred Heart’s summer drama camps.
The students are assigned their parts, and then they must learn lines, create costumes, build scenery, and rehearse their show all in one week! On the last day of camp, the families are all invited to the performance.
The first week, the drama camp put on Robin Hood. Seamus was one of the merry men!
The second week of drama camp was A Christmas Carol. Seamus played a town boy…
Young Ebenezer…
And Tiny Tim! He was soooo excited about this role, mainly because it involved carrying a crutch ;-)
He had a ball and the kids did an amazing job! Here’s Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge dancing during the finale!
Great job to all the young actors!

Saying Goodbye
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our Uncle Charles.
I was blessed to not only have him be a big part of my life, but a big part of my children’s lives as well.
We are finding comfort in our wonderful memories…and we keep praying for my aunt, my cousins, and everyone who loved him.
“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, put me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” -A.A. Milne
Rest in peace, Uncle Charles. 8-2-13
