Today was Seamus' first-ever soccer class! The anticipation has been building for weeks. Nanny even purchased him a special soccer backpack to hold his "gear" - which at this point included not much more than a water bottle and bag of crackers (which I specifically put in there just so he would have something to carry around!) Nonetheless, he was very excited and thrilled beyond belief to finally get out on the field.
Doing warm-ups with the rest of the class
Stretching with Daddy
Like father, like son
He's a natural...do I hear David Beckham calling?

Perfecting the "soccer stance"
Now of course he cannot wait until next week's class. We are hoping that soccer is a sport he'll be able to stick with for as long as he wants (minus the headbutting, of course!) I wouldn't mind if he could "bend it like Beckham"...as long as I get to be Posh Mommy Spice!

Looks like Seamus at a great time! Caty is into soccer as well. Scott coaches the team at school, so during the spring, our Friday afternoons are spent watching his team play. Caty was asking when she get to play soccer, guess we'll have to look into it soon. Great pictures!
Looks like he had a great time! I wish Ethan had some kind of interest in playing or even watching sports! I guess he's going to be like me & have no interest.(I also wasnt very coordinated!) For Fred's sake I hope Collin is into something! & you know how much he likes to move already! I hope he likes sports just to release some energy!!!
what a pro! He looks so cute!
You can just see his excitement! Go Seamus!
OMG! Seamus-you are great! I think you are going to be a great big star on the soccer field. And let mommy be Posh spice when you become famous!
Emily the pics are great as always. He looks like he had such a great time! I guess if this is a hit and Seamus is five months older-Preston should do this in the spring huh? I promised myself I would never be a soccer mom! LOL!!!! He is such a handsome kid-I love the stretching with the class picture. It is just so sweet!

Wow, he's a cutie! Go Seamus.
Seamus looks great out there! Pro for sure in the future. Aidan loves soccer and golf...I think we'll be looking into those for him in the future. Great pictures, especially got a kick out of seeing him warm up with daddy.
