First Day of School!

Last Friday was Seamus' first day of school...yippee!

I was so excited, even though he'd been telling us for days that there was no way in heck he was going back to Pre-K.

I kept telling him, "Yeah, that's nice...YOU'RE GOING." And then he'd cry.

I'm a super mom.

On the morning of the first day, he cried so hard that the snot was literally dripping down his face. 47 tissues later, he did stop bawling for two seconds so I could snap this picture. I thought that was awful nice of him.
And then he cried some more.

The tears finally stopped when we arrived at Dunkin' Donuts, and he got to pick out a donut...with chocolate frosting and sprinkles! (Check out last year's school post...isn't it funny how similar the donut pictures are??)

One chocolate donut and suddenly all was right with the world!
There he goes to stand with his class!
My little man...I was so proud of him.
He had a wonderful first day! Here he is with the Spiderman umbrella he had been promised by Nanny (and also a Princess one...he had to make sure Gigi got one too!)
Growing up so fast...

I'm kinda with Seamus, a Dunkin' Donut heals all wounds! Glad he pulled it together for school! Make sure you grab those umbrellas - my kids try to "have swordfights" with theirs, ugh!

I am laughing so hard-not that Seamus cried but the fact that he says "Heck." Preston thinks he is cool because he can say "What the heck." It's on his list of wrods that will not get him soap along with pee-pee and poopie-I figure he will outgrow that sooner or later. He looks so grown up. Sometimes when I look at a picture of Seamus like that I think back to when I first met you and the pics of Seamus in his Christmas outfit at like five months! He is so adorable! I miss you guys so much!

Seamus looks simply adorable! So it's going to be donuts every new school year....I think that sounds like a pretty cool deal.
