Batter Up!

Thank you all for your kind comments to the prego lady in the last post!  Yes, we will definitely be finding out the gender of the baby, hopefully at the 20 week u/s if the baby cooperates.  What a relief, we’ll finally know whether we’re having a Princess Jasmine or an Aladdin!

In other exciting news, Seamus had his first two t-ball games this past weekend!

Here’s just a few shots of our little all-star in action.

And here’s some video of him getting a hit!  Each player gets to swing at 4 pitches, and if they miss, they they get to try off the tee.  Seamus did so fantastic, he hit off a pitch every time up at bat!  We were so proud of him!

He absolutely loves it – he even “slid” into home base!!  And Mommy has realized she needs a zoom lens for her camera!  Any suggestions??

A Few Things

1. Grace learned to write the words “Mom” and “Pop” recently.

003

004

She’s very proud of herself!  At bedtime, I turn the lights off and tuck her in, and she’ll say, “But Mom!  Can I please write Mom and Pop just one more time?”

Can you really say no to that?

2. I must be drunk or delirious right now, because I’m sharing a belly pic.  And no, I’m not six months pregnant…I’m sixteen weeks.  Baby Number 3 shows no mercy.

006

But enough of that…look at our pretty new couches!

3. Guess who has his very first t-ball game this weekend?

013

Look at the fierceness.  The determination.

008

I’m a little scared right now.

009

Look out, Spring Little League…here he comes!

Superhero Sunday

Very fun visit with the Weissers today!

These boys are super silly when we ask them for some “buddy” pictures.

006

012

All four of them played great today and had so much fun together!

016

Then we got a very special surprise visit from some superheroes!

023

Wow, lucky us – Batman, Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and Wolverine all in one place!

We sure didn’t fear for our safety today, we knew these mighty mutants would protect us!

035

We also got to visit with our friend Julia and her mom and dad, who joined us for dessert!  So glad that everyone finally got to meet.

We chatted a lot about Nashville!  Our two families will be there from Sunday to Thursday morning.  So far the events that I am most excited about are the Grand Ole Opry, Family Night, and possibly the General Jackson Showboat??  And of course we need to find a place to watch 4th of July fireworks!  We’d love to hear what everyone else has planned, too – it won’t be long now before we’re all in Music City, USA!

However, there is no question that it’s still early spring…as evidenced by the two-story high pile of branches and overgrowth that is now adorning our curb!  Looks pretty, doesn’t it?

Beautiful weather, beautiful day…hope it was the same for you!
