My OB office wanted to do another U/S after 24 weeks to “check for achondroplasia.” I said, Okay, whatever makes you feel better!!
Devon and I both know that we are not at any increased risk of having a second child born with dwarfism, but it seems to reassure the professionals to check for it anyway! And honestly, we would simply be double blessed if given the opportunity to parent another LP.
I certainly didn’t mind getting another peek at my little sweetheart – isn’t he a cutie?
He is a wiggle worm, but they got all the measurements they needed and he is looking just great. Here he is with his arm resting against his head. For a good portion of the exam, he had his toes touching his forehead – yikes! What am I in for with this kid??

I think he is trying already to compete with big brother Seamus on the flexibility! He already is amazing looking! Just another great addition to a beautiful family!
Love the 3D ultrasound! So awesome! So glad things are going very well! I agree, how sweet would it be to be doubly blessed with another LP child! Sounds like you have quite a flexible one on your hands LP or not! Oh my! :)
