Weekend of LP Fun!

We had a wonderful weekend spent with many of our awesome LP family!

On Saturday, we met up with our friend Ian and his mom, Sharon and his brother Matthew, for the Readington Balloon Festival in NJ!

The kids were in awe of all the free giveaways, the games, tattoos, food, rides, and crazy mascots!

Unfortunately due to the weather, the balloons weren’t able to launch, but we still had a blast!  Can’t wait to go again next year!

On Sunday, the Mohawk Valley Chapter participated in the first annual “Ride With Pride” bike run!

Our chapter members Lee and Manon Sikes, of Broadway Choppers, organized this great event.  The amount of support we received was amazing!

We had a great time hanging out at LT’s Grill, enjoying the food, bounce house, and of course, each other’s company.

After the bike run, we hung out with the Korpais and were entertained by this crazy crew and their multiple performances!

It was a crazy, busy and fun weekend!  Our LP family ROCKS!

Race Time

This past Sunday we all went to the races to cheer on Uncle Dana in the Dwarfism Awareness car!

Here is the awesome Dwarfism Awareness booth, headed up by Grandma!  T-shirts, gift baskets, raffle tickets….all to support dwarfism awareness!

Here is Devon, Seamus and Grace spending a little quality time with Gene Cole, the owner of Utica-Rome Speedway.

The kids had a great time watching all the action in the pits!

The Weissers joined us at race time and Seamus and Ethan were asked to come up to the tower for an interview!  Here they are waiting in the VIP box for their turn over the loudspeaker.  They did a great job!

We had a great time cheering on the #110 car and we’re looking forward to more racing fun!

Whoa!

While in Myrtle Beach, we brought Liam to the Pirates Voyage show for the first time.  We were really unsure if he would even sit through it, but we realized quickly that we didn’t need to worry…he LOVED it!!!

This was his reaction (over and over) to all the cool tricks and the crazy action on the stage…

Seamus is Seven!

Seven…seriously, this boy needs to stop growing up!!  I have no idea how he can be seven already…I surely wasn’t prepared…but here he is….turning into a young man before my eyes.

At the end of last month, we celebrated the big 7 by playing mini golf with some friends from school.  I made him a special shirt to wear for the day!

Instead of a cool cake, Seamus and Nanny decided on monster truck cookies to hand out to his friends.  Nanny decorated them just like Thrasher, his current favorite monster truck!

Myrtle Beach 2012

We’re back from our Myrtle Beach vacation and as always, we had a blast!

These kids love the beach and are fearless in the ocean.  We made the most of each day and thoroughly wore ourselves out!!  Swimming, shell searching, crab digging, fish catching, riding rides and watching the pirate show…we loved it all!  Enjoy the pictures!
