A “Little” Zumba!

Tonight we had the pleasure of kicking off Dwarfism Awareness month with an awesome Zumba fundraiser in Herkimer for our LPA chapter!  The Weisser family put together this fun event and we were so glad to be able to participate!

These crazy boys sure were glad to see each other again!  They were also thrilled that their friend Mackenzie was there to join them too!

Seamus and Ethan got to join Hollie up on stage to help teach the class!  The room was packed and they were loving it!  The instructors were awesome.

I even caught Liam putting the moves on the other Zumba instructor!!

Whew!  90 minutes of Zumba and these boys rocked it!

Our Little Muppet Turns Two

Our little Liam has turned two!  I just can’t believe it.  He is growing up so fast.

Liam adores the Muppets, but of course I was not able to find any Muppets party supplies.  So instead, we found some Muppets printables online and decorated with orange, blue, pink and green – to represent Fozzie, Gonzo, Miss Piggy and Kermit.  He was so excited to see the decorations when he woke up on his birthday!

His grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all came to celebrate his special day with him!

Nanny made him a special Fozzie Bear cake!  Wocka wocka!

Liam was not so sure about everyone singing to him…

But he quickly learned he needed to blow those candles out so he could eat some cake!

He received many wonderful gifts…monster trucks and race cars galore!  He is just like his brother Seamus, and the two of them have so much fun playing trucks and cars together.

He got Goldfish too!

And a special Fozzie Bear to hug!

Aunt Chachi brought him The Lorax dvd and fake mustaches so he could dress up like the Lorax.  Guess who had more fun with the mustaches??

He also received an awesome ride-on Radio Flyer coaster!  He rode this about a million times!

All the kids had fun with it!

Happy Birthday Liam!  We love you so much!

Apple Picking

One of the great things about living in New York is all of our amazing apples!

I admit, some years I am lazy and just buy them at the store.  But it is always much more fun to pick them ourselves, especially now that the kids get so into it!

Liam adores apples, and he must have eaten a dozen on our little apple-picking venture.

After a while, he was really getting the hang of shining up his apples on his shirt!

We had a great time at the orchard, and came right home and made applesauce and apple pie.  Yum!

Green Belt

Seamus passed his Tae Kwon Do testing last week and has now progressed onto a green belt!  Way to go, buddy!

Soccer Stars

Seamus and Grace started soccer this weekend!  So far they’re really enjoying it.  I have a hard time saying no when they ask to do an activity, especially one that keeps them active!  So this fall they are both in soccer, both taking dance (Grace – Irish step dancing and Seamus – hip hop) and Seamus is continuing in Tae Kwon Do.  So we will be busy!

This is Grace’s first time playing soccer, and she is doing great!

Seamus played a couple of years ago and had a bit of a hard time then.  He didn’t realize how difficult it would be to keep up with other kids on the field.  I was skeptical when he said he wanted to play again, but so far he is doing fantastic.  I think his endurance has built up quite a bit from playing other sports.

First Day of School 2012

A few pictures from the first day of school!  I LOVE back-to-school time…partly because of the return to routine and schedule, but mostly because our school is pretty much the greatest school ever!  It makes me so happy to know my kids are there each day.
