I don’t think moms really need an official day to feel “special,” but the sweetness that comes with this day sure is wonderful!
I joined Seamus at school for the Mother’s Day breakfast, and talk about cuteness overload. We had juice and pancakes and were presented with special gifts.
A pancake mustache!
All of those flowers in the flowerpot are his fingerprints! The kids also had to draw a picture of their moms, and they were all hung on the wall for us to guess who was who. I think the resemblance is striking! He did give me some hair, it’s just not easy to see!
Grace made me this adorable pussywillow branch – out of marshmallows! It is the cutest thing ever. She keeps reminding me not to eat them – it must have suddenly clicked that no food is safe around me!
It was a wonderful Mother’s Day…and of course the greatest gift of all is feeling this loved!

So sweet!! Happy Mother's Day Emily! Your kids are absolutely adorable! Love Seamus' little fingerprint flowers and his pancake mustache! That is too funny that Grace reminds you not to eat the marshmallows! :)
Looking forward to seeing you guys in two weeks!!
I just love your art projects! Isn't so nice to get something you know the kiddos worked so hard on? So cute! I just love Seamus' pancake mustache. Something tells me there is going to be a lot of goofing around in Dutch Wonderland with all these boys!
You look fabulous my dear. See you in two weeks!
