Although we weren’t expecting him until the 30th, Baby Brother Liam has made his arrival!
I went to the doctor for a checkup on Tuesday the 21st, and they had been watching me for elevated blood pressure, facial edema and other possible pre-eclampsia symptoms. The doctor sent me right from her office to the hospital, telling me we would be having a baby by the following day! Yikes!
So I was a bit nervous and quite unprepared, but I knew all along that he would come when he was ready to come! The c-section went very smoothly, my symptoms are calming down and he is doing just great. He’s a sweet little love with a very calm demeanor, very alert and a great nurser. He can hear my voice from across the room and turns his head to look for me!

Awww, so adorable!!! I just love the pictures of Seamus and Grace with their new baby brother. What an absolutely beautiful baby Liam is. The family picture of all of you is lovely. You may have felt like it was a scary mom picture, but you are glowing! Congrats to all of you!!

I've been so busy I haven't been on blogger for quite sometime now but had to post when I saw you updated in the Facebook feed. First of all I can't believe you updated on your blog so soon afterwards. Glad to hear the c-section went well. All the pictures are wonderful. Gracie and Seamus seem overjoyed with baby Liam. Congratulations!!! I'm with Destini - teary-eyed here too! Liam (love his name!) is absolutely beautiful, and the pictures with him and his big brother and big sister are just precious! You have a beautiful family, and I love your first family picture together!! I can't wait to meet Baby Liam! You look wonderful! I know the feeling though - I had edema really bad with both boys. I'm so happy that the c-section went well and that your symptoms are calming!
