We've Landed Here

So we have moved to a new location...so sorry to be a huge pain in the butt for all of you who have blog links! Hopefully you found us and won't leave us. I was having trouble with the old link and this one is much easier to remember...I mean my brain is mush and all, but I think my own name will stick with me. I think.

I finally got around to finishing the story of Seamus and how we came to be where we are. It's posted over on the right and I'll also put it here (I really just think it's so cool that I can do a hyperlink now) Our Story
It's very long, but there it is, and I'm so glad that's finally all written down. It actually felt great to write it. So if you have a minute (or an hour...sheesh), feel free to check it out. I know it is these stories that bind us LP families together, and for that I am grateful.

Here's a few random thoughts for the day, courtesy of my dad (Poppy):

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

And my personal favorite, because I know I definitely do this (the domestic goddess that I am):

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the
vacuum one more chance?

LOL I did that last one on Tuesday night! I had it in my hand! Just throw it away!

I'll make sure to add you to my BLOG roll at your new address. My mom says mine's hard to remember too. You have the right idea about using your name!

PS- Those pics are adorable!
